I took the liberty of writeing to you last week,
requesting your intercession with the Bench of Justices
at Hicks's
to comply with the prayer of a Petition
sent them from the Debtors confin'd here requesting
an Adjournment of the present Sessions may be
Appointed as soon as convenient after their thirty days
notice expires (28th Justt.) for their enlargement; but as
I need no Answer I fear my letter was deliver'd to a
wrong person as I am inform'd this is the last
day of the present Sessions, & of Course the Adjourn
ment will be appointed; shall be greatly
obliged to you Sir, to favor me with a line
mentioning the Day so Appointed , that we may
know how, & when to proceed in sending own
schedules, petitions Etca. agreeable to the let
