WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Mary Islington
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace [..]
for the said County of Middlesex (a [..]
of us of the Quorum) that Catherine Pickles< no role > Widow of [..]
Pickles Wim Cooper deceased and her Son named John [..]
Aged Seven Years together with Ruth Mary her Bartard Child
Aged Four Years have
lately intruded into your said Parish of Saint Mary Islington

there to inhabit as Parishioner s contrary to the Laws relation
to the Settlement of the Poor, and there likely to become
chargeable, if not timely prevented: AND WHEREAS, upon
due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, as said
as on the Oath of the said Catherine Pickles< no role >
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said
Catherine Pickles< no role > and her Son named John< no role > and Ruth
Mary< no role > her Bastard Child are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of Saint Mary
Islington and that the last legal Place
Settlement of the said Catherine Pickles and her Son John
is in the said Parish of
Saint Mary Aldermary
