MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by Adjournment) on Thursday the Seventeenth
Day of February in the FourteenthYear of the
Regin of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight Benjamin
Cowley
< no role > John Walford< no role > John Sherwood< no role > Esqrs. & other their fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the said County
committed in the said County

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Kingston upon
Thomas in the County of Surry Did at the General Session of the Peace held for this County in the Month of December last
Exhibit their Petition & appeal setting forth that the virtue of an Order under the hands & Seals
of Henry Lambe< no role > & I Miller Esqrs. Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in & for the said County (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 13th day of December 1773 John Butler< no role > This name instance is in set 219. & Mary< no role > his
Wife together with their three Children (vizt) Mary< no role > aged about four Years Sarah< no role > aged
two Years & John< no role > This name instance is in set 219. aged about seven weeks were removed from the Hamlet of Hammersmith in
the Parish of Fulham in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Kingston upon Thomas
in the said County of Surry as the Place of their last legal Settlement whereby the
Petitioners conceiv'd themselves aggrieved & which said appeal hath beenhaving beenduly adjourn'd
unto this day Now upon hearing the said appeal & what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parishes aforesaid their Counsel & witnesses
in & concerning the premises It is Ordered that the saidpass warrantOrder of the said Two
Justices be & the same is hereby confirm'd And it is further Ordered that the [..]
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Kingston upon Thomas do
maintain & provide fort the said John Butler Mary his Wife & their sd. Three Children until they can
from themselves from the Charge by Due Course of Law
