That at a Petty Session of the Peace for the [..]
Division in which this Parish lyes held the thirtieth [..]
of October last the said Thomas Holland< no role > and Henry [..]
attended and represented their respective Cases to the [..]
in the manner they thought proper when the Justices did
not nor indeed could they make any Order thereon but on
recommended to them if the Facts were as Stated to [..]
the Officers to reconsider the Rate or redress their [..]
instead whereof the said Thomas Holland< no role > in Collusions [..]
the Vestry Clerk as Your Petitioners have great [..]
apprehend and hope, to Prove and without the Knowledge
Privity or consent of the other Churchwarden or either [..]
the Overseers not only fraudulently wrote a false
Memorandum in the Rate book for the said year One
thousand seven hundred and seventy two expressing [..]
the said Justices had Settled the said Thomas Hollands< no role > [..]
for the said year One thousand seven hundred and [..]
two at thirteen pounds P Annum Rent instead of [..]
P Annum Rent at which he had been Assessed in [..]
Book for the said year One thousand seven hundred [..]
seventy two but also under the like fallacious pretence [..]
with the like fraudulent View filled up the said blank [..]
left for the said Thomas Holland< no role > 's & Henry Hawes< no role > 's [..]
Rents and Rates for the said present Year One thousand [..]
seven hundred and seventy three as follows (Vizt.) the [..]
Thomas Holland< no role > 's Annual Rent at £12. (which is [..]
in fact One pound P Annum less than the Rent reser [..]
by his Lease) without the Improvements and which
Improvements as above Stated would make his full [..]
for which he ought now to be and was in the said year [..]
thousand seven hundred and seventy two Rated at Twenty
pounds P Annum And the said Henry Hawes< no role > 's Annual
Rent is therein also filled up at Sixty six pounds P Annum
instead of Eighty six pounds P Annum for which he ought
now to be Rated.
