By an Order of Removal of that Date under the Hands & Seals of John Sherwood< no role > & Robt. Pell< no role > Esqrs. Two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in & for the County of Middx Eleanor Morris< no role > Singlewoman & her 3 Children
Vizt. John < no role > Aged 6 Years and upwards Joseph < no role > Aged 4 Years & upwards & Thos < no role > aged 9 Months & upwards (for Nurture) were
removed from the parish of St. Mary White Chapel afsd. to the sd. parish of St. Lukes as the place of the
last legal Settlement of the sd. Eleanor Morris< no role > on the following Examination Vizt.

Saith she hath often heard one Mrs. Burkett say & verily bels. the same to be true that she was
born in the parish of St. Lukes in the County of Middx and that she never did any Act of her own to gain
any legal Settlement And also saith that abt. 6 years ago. she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child at
the House of one Mrs. Elson in Well Street in the Hamlet of Mile End New Town Com Middx which sd. Child
was baptized. at the parish Church of St. Leonard Shoreditch by the name of JohnSaith that abt. [..]
delivered of [..] male Bastard Child at the House of one Mr. Townend in the Mint in the parish of St. George
Southwark & wch Child was Baptized at the parish of St. Lukes afsd. by ye name of Joseph Saith that abt. 9 Months she
was deled of [..] Male Bastard Child at the House of one Mr. Roft in Blue Anchor Yard White Chapel wch
sd. Child was Baptized at the parish Church of White Chapel by the name of Thomas and were begotten on her Body by John Tusoe
heretofore of the sd. parish of White Chapel
