at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forthsetting forth
That the said Thomas Kinman< no role >
the Younger by Indre bearing date the 25th. of Novr.
1769 was bound Apprentice to Thomas Chance< no role >
of Fleet Lane
in the Parish of St.
Sepulchre
Coach maker
for the Term of Seven Years And the Said Thomas Chance< no role >
in Consideration of £.30 did agree to teach & instruct the Sd. Thos. Kinman the
Younger the Art & Mistery of Coachmaker which he they used, That the
Petitioners said Father Thos. Kinman the Elder was to find & provide for the said
Petr. his Son all Sorts of wearing Apparel Woolen, Linnen, Shoes and Hooking
& all Sorts of working Tools during the Term That the said Thomas Chance< no role >
during his residence in Fleet Lane
which was Two Years & a half after g the Petr.
Thos. Kinman was so bound instead of employing the said Petr. in the Business of
a Coachmaker frequently employed him in the most Service Employments (Vizt.)
pulling down an old Wall where a Copper had beenset, cleaning the Bricks,
carrying away the Rubbish, paveing the Yard, fetching Grains & feeding the
Hogs whereby great part of his time was Cost from his proper Business That
after Midsummer 1772 the said Thomas Chance< no role >
removed to Tottenham High Cross
leaving the Petr. Thos. Kinman< no role >
Junr. to clear away the Publish & pave another
Yard which took near a Month's time & then he went home to his Master's at
Tottenham
were instead of employing him at Coach making he set him to
driving of a Cart backwards & forwards from London to Tottenham
to fetch Lime
& other Materials, making of Mortar for building some Houses digging in the

Garden & other such servile Employments until some time in the Month of
