To the Constable Headborough , Tythingman
and other Officer of the Peace of the
Parish of St. Margaret in the
City of Westminster
[..] to receive
and convey. And to the Church-Wardens,
Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Ivings
in the County of Bucks
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Ann Shillingford< no role > the Widow of William Shillingford< no role >
deceased with her 4 Children by her said late Husband Vizt. Thomas< no role >
aged near 18 Years, Jane< no role > aged about 13 Years, Mary< no role > aged about 9 Years
and William< no role > aged about 3 Years and an half
was apprehended in the Parish of Saint Margaret aforesaid
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet) Wandering and Begging
and upon Examination of the said Ann Shillingford< no role >
taken before meupon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Ann Shillingford and her said
four Children is in the Parish of Ivingo, in the County of
Bucks
These are therefore to require you the said Constable, or other Officer
to convey the said Ann Shillingford and her said 4 Children
to the [..] of Colnbrook in the County of Bucks that being the first
Parish in the next Precinct, through which they ought to pass
in the direct Way to the said Parish of Ivingo to which
they are to be sent, and to deliver them to the Constable, or
other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct, together with
this Pass and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Ann
Shillingford taking his Receipt
for the same. And the said Ann Shillingford and her said
4 Children to be thence carried on in like Manner
to the said Parishof Ivingo
there to be delivered to some Church-Wardens, Chapel-Warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor, are hereby required to
receive the said Person, and provide for them as aforesaid. GIVEN
under my Hand and Seal this 21st. Day of January
in the Year of our Lord 1778.
