Hall in and for the County of Middlesex

The Humble Petition of John Shea< no role > an apprentice

Sheweth


That your Petitioner was by and with the Consent of his mother
Judith Shea< no role > by Indenture tearing date the Twenty Sixth day of
November One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty Six bound an Apprentice
unto John Marsh< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Plough Court in the parish of Saint Clemens Danes in
the County of Middlesex Cutler for the Term of Seven Years And That
your Petitioners Master in Consideration of the Sum of Twelve Pounds
paid by your said Petitioners Mother Judith then was to Instruct Your
said Petitioner in the Art or Trade and also to Find your said Petitioner
in sufficient Meat Drink and Lodging during the said Term

Saith That your Petitioners Master the said John Marsh< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. abt.
Twelve Months ago lost his Habitation and Family without Leaving
any support for your said Petitioner or any person to Learn him his
Trade and that your Petitioner has since been assisted by his Mother

Saith That sometime ago your Petitioner was Informed that his
said Master was gone to Guildford in the County of Surry to reside
upon which your Petitioner went to the said Town of Guildford and
there Inquired after the said John Marsh< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. his said Master of several
Persons but Coud not hear any Thing of the said John Marsh< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. in the
said Town

Therefore Your Petitioner most humby prays
your Worships taking the Premises into your Consideration
to order your Petitioners Masters Wife to attend this
Honourable Court on Friday next at this present
Sessions to thus Cause why your [..] said Petition
