At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our lord the
King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks hall in St.
John Street in the same County by adjournment on Thinest
day the Fourth Day of Junein the twelfth Year of
the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King
of Great Britain Etc. Before John Hawkins< no role > , Benjamin
Cowley
< no role > , George Mercer< no role > Junior, John Walford< no role >
Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said lord
the King Assigned to Keep the Peace of our said low the
King in the said County of Midlesex and also to
hear & determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanors committed in the same County.

Whereas the Overseers of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffronhill Hatton Garden and Elyrents
in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex Did at the last General
Quarter Session of the Peace held for the said County in the month of April last Exhibit
their Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the
hands and Seals of John Spencer Colepeper< no role > and Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex (one of whom is of the Quorum)
bearing date the Twenty eighth day of April last Ann Strudgnall< no role > widow and Elizabeth Strudgnall< no role >
Aged Twenty years Daughter in law of the said Ann and John Milbourn< no role > aged six years Son of
the said Ann (for Nurture) were removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the County of Middlesex
to the said Liberty of Saffronhill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents as the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Ann Strudgnall and Elizabeth Strudgnall Whereby the Petitioners
conceived themselves Aggrieved Which said Appeal was duly Adjourned unto this day Now the
said Appeal comming on to be heard in the presence of the respective Churchwardens and
Overseers their Council and Witnesses And it Appearing to this Court on inspection of the said
Order or Pass Warrant that the same is Substantially insufficient It is Ordered that the said
Order or Pass Warrant be and the same is hereby Quashed for the insufficiency thereof And it
is further Ordered that the Overseers of the Poor of the said Liberty of Saffronhill Hatton Garden
and Ely Rents do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said Ann Strudgnall< no role > Widow and
Elizabeth Strudgnall her Daughter in law and John Milbourn< no role > her Son (together with a Copy of
this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Sepulcher who are hereby required to receive and provide for them until they can Free
themselves from the charge thereof by due course of law And it is also further Ordered that [..]
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Sepulcher do forth with pay or cause to
be paid to the Overseer's of the poor of the said Liberty of Saffronhill Hatton Garden and
Elyrents the Sum of One Pound and Fifteen Shillings for their Charges and Expences in
Relieving and maintaining the said Ann Strudgnall< no role > Widow and Elizabeth Strudgnall her
Daughter in law and John Milbourn< no role > her Son since their Removal
