on each of the said Days, at the House of John Wood< no role > , known
by the Name of the George Inn in Frome Selwood aforesaid, and
make a full Discovery and Disetosure of his Estate and Effects
when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to proye
their Debts, and at the Second Sitting to choose Afugnees,
and at the last Sitting the said Bankrupt is required to finish
his Examination, and the Creditors are to allent to or dissent
from the Allowance of his Certificate. All Persons indebted
to the said Bankrupt, or that have any of his Effects, are not
to pay or deliver the same but to whom the commissioners
shall appoint, but give Notice to Samuel Jeffer< no role > , Attorney at
Law, in Frome Selwood aforesaid.

Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded and issued
forth against Thomas Stephens< no role > , of Princess-Street in
the Parish of St. Anne Westminster in the County of Mid-
dlesex, Taylor, and he being declared a Bankrupt, is hereby
required to Surrender himself to the Commissioners in the
said Commission named, or the major Part of them, on
the 6th and 16th Days of May instant at Four of the Clock
in the Afternoon, and on the 13th Day of June next at
Ten of the Clocl in the Forenoon at Guildhall , London, and
make a full Discovery and Diselosure of his Estate and Ef-
fects; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared
to prove their Debts, and at the Second Sitting to Chuse As-
signees, and at the last Sitting the said Bankrupt is required
to finish his Examination, and the Creditors are to assent to
or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate. All Per-
sons indebted to the said Bankrup, or that have any of his
Effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to whom the
Commissioners shall appoint, but give Notice to Mr. Fowler
Artorney, in Dean-Street , Soho .

Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded and issued
forth against John Bell< no role > , of Brampton in the Parish of
Brampton in the county of Cumberland , Butcher , Dealer and
Chapman, and he being declared a Bankrupt, is hereby re-
quired to Surrender himself to the Commissioners in the said
Commission named, or the major Part of them, on the 21st
and 22d Days of May instant, and on the 13th Day of June
next, at Ten o'Clock in the Forenoon, on each of the said
Days, at the House of Isabel Sowerby< no role > , Inn Keeper, Known by
the Sign of the Duke's Head, in Scotch- Street within the
City of Carlisle in the said County of Cumberland , and make a
full Discovery and Difelosure of his Estate and Effects; when
and where the Creditors are to come prepaed to prove their
Debts, and at the Second Sitting to Choose Assignees, and at
the last Sitting the said Bankrupt is required to finish his
Examination, and the Creditors are to assent to or dissent from
the Allowance of his Certificate. All Persons indebted to the
said Bankrupt, or that have any of his Effects, are not to
Pay of deliver the same but to whom the Commissioners shall

The Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt award-
ed and issued forth against Henry Rose< no role > , late of the Pa-
rish of St. George the Martyr in the County of Middlesex ,
Carpenter . Dealer and Chaprean, intend to meet on the 9th
Day of May instant, at Four o'Clock in the Afternoon, at
Guildhal , London; when and where the Creditors who have
not already proved their Debts, are to come prepared to prove
the same.

The Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt award
ed and issued forth against George Sealy< no role > , of the City of
Exeter , Merchant , intend to meet on the 27th Day of May
instant, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, at the House
of Peter Berron< no role > , Known by the Name of Berlon's Coffee-house
and Tavern in the said City of Exeter , in order to make a
Further Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects;
when and where the Creditors, who have not already proved
their Debts, are to come prepared to prove the same, or they
will be excluced the Bene [..] of the said Dividend. And all
Persons, who have made any Claims, are to come and prove
the same or they will be disallowed.

The Commissioners ina Commission of Bankrupt award-
and issued forth against Robert Cowan Keller< no role > , of
Crutched Fryers , London , Merchant, intend to meet on the
3d Day of June next, at Ten o'Clock in the forenoon, at
Guildhall , London, in order to make a final Dividend of
the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects; when and where the
Creditors, who have not already proved their Debts, are to
come prepared to prove the same, or they will be excluded the
Benefit of the said Dividend. And all Persons, who have made
any Claims, are to come and prove the same, or the will be
totally excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.

The Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt award

the County of Surry , Paper-maker, Dealer and Chairman, in-
tend to meet on the 23d Day of May instant, at Five of the
Clock in the Afternoon, at Guildhall , London, in order to
make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects;
when and where the Creditors, who have not already proved
then Debts, are tocome prepared to prove the same, or they
will be exchilded the Benefit of the said Dividend. And all
Persons, who have made any claims, are to come and prove
the same, or they will be disallowed.

The Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt awarded
and issued forth against James Scott< no role > , late of he Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex
Bookbinder , Dealer and Chapman, intend to meet on the 1st
Day of June next, at Five o' Clock in the Aternoon, at
Guildhall , London, in ordern to make a Dividend of the said
Bankrupt's Estate and Effects; when and where the Creditors,
who have not already proved their Debts, are to come prepared
to prove the same, or they will be excluded the Benefit of the
said Dividend.

The Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt award-
ed and issued forth against Francis Spirrll Wheatley< no role >
of New Bond-Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover-
Square in the county of Middlesex , Coachmaker ; intend to
meet on the 23d Day of May instant, at five o'Clock in the
Afternoon at Guildhall , London, in order to make a Further
Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects when and
where the Creditors, who have not already proved their Debts,
are to come prepared to Prove the same, or they will be ex-
cluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.

WHereas the acting Commissioners in the Commission of
Bankrupt awarded against Lawrence Rouslare< no role > of
Wells next the Sea in the County of Norfolk , Merchant,
have Certified to the Right Hon Henry Lord Apsley< no role > Lord
High Chancellor of Great Britain, that the said Lawrence
Rous
< no role > hath in all Things conformed himself according to the
Directions of the several Acts of Parliament made concerning
Bankrupts, This is to give Notice, that by virtue of an Act
lasted in the Fifth year of his late Majesty's Reign, his Cer-
tificate will be allowed and confirmed as the said Act directs,
unless Cause be shewn to the contrary on or before the 23d
of May instant.

THE under-mentioned Persons clamint the
Benefit of the Act lately passed for the Re-
lief of Insolvent Debtors, the folloeing Notices
have been brought to the Printer of the LONDON
GAZETTE, to be inserted in This Paper,
and are herein inserted in Obedience to the Said
Act.

THE following Persons being Prisoners for
Debt, in the respective Prisons, or Goals,
hereafter mentioned, do hereby give Notice, That
they intend to take the Benefit of an Act of Par-
liament, passed in the Twelfth year of the Reign
of His present Majesty King George the Third
intituled, An Act for the Relief of Insolvent Debtors,
and for indemnifying the Marshal of the King's Bench
Prison from Prosecutions at Law for certain Escapes
from the said Prison, at the next General or Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be held in and for the
County, Riding, Division, City, Town, Liberty,
or Place, or any Adjournment thereof, which shall
happen next after Thirty Days from the
FIRST Publication of the under mentioned
Names, viz.
