County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall on Saint John Street in the said County
(by adjournment) on Thursday the Thirtyeth day of Aprilin the twelfth [..]

said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace of our said Lord the King
in the County aforesaid and also to hear and dertermine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors committed in the said
County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseerseers of the Poor of the Hamlet of
Hammersmith in the Parish of Fulham in the County of Middlesex Did
at the General Session of the Peace held in the Month of February last exhibit their Petition and Appeal
settingfoth That by Virtue of an Order of removal under the Hands and Seals
(one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Thirteenth day of February 1772
Joseph Streater< no role > an Infant aged about Two Years and Eight Months and
Ann Streater< no role > an Infant aged about Thirteen Months illegitimate Children
were removed from the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea in the said County
to the said Hamlet of Hammersmith as the place of their last legal settlement
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Which said Appeal
was duly Adjourned unto this day Now upon hearing of the said Appeal
in the presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea and they consenting by their Council to the
Allowing of the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said appeal be and the
same is hereby allowed and the said Pass Warrant of the said two Justice is
hereby Vacated and set a sids and it is further Ordered that the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Hamlet of Hammersmith in the Parish of Fulham in the
County of Middlesex aforesaid do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said two
Children together with a Copy of this Order to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luck Chelsea or to same or one of them who are hereby
required to receive and provide for them for Nurture of their Mother only) they being
bastard Children ofa Poor Woman whose settlement [..]
is in the said Parish of saint Lake Chelsea And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea aforesaid Do
forthwith Pay or Cause to be Paid to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Hamlet of Hammersmith or to some or one of them the Sum of Two Pound
and two Shillings for their Charges and Expences in relieving and or maintaining the
said two poor Children since their removal
