Middlesex


At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks hall in Saint
John Street in the Same County (by adjournment) on Thursday the fifth
Day of December in the twelfth year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc. Before John Hawkins< no role >
Benjamin Cowley< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Saunders Welch< no role > Esquires
and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to
the Peace of our said Lord the King within the said County and also to hear
and Determine Divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanor
Committed in the said County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Peter upon Cornhill on the City of London Have at this present Session exhibited
their Petition and Appeal by the Name and Stile of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Peters in the City of London Setting-
forth That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals
of William Kelynge< no role > and Thomas Kynaston< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the Tenth day of October last Jane Ford< no role > Widow
and her two Children to wit Jane< no role > , and Ann< no role > , were removed and conveyed
from out of the Parish of Saint Mary Le Strand in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Peter upon Cornhill by the name of St. Peter's in the City of London as
the place of their last legal settlement Whereby the Petitioners apprehended
themselves aggrieved Nowupon hearing ofthe said Appeal coming on to be heard and it appearing
that the Appellants are misnamed as well in the said pass Warrant as in
the said Appeal This Ordered that the same Appeal be and the name is
hereby QuashedDismissed And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Peter upon Cornhill [..] in the
City of London Do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said Jane Ford< no role >
and her two Children (together with a copy of this order) unto the Church
wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary
le Strand or to some or one of them who are hereby required to received and
Provide for them to be removed by a legal Order on until they can free
themselves from the charge thereof by the Cause of Law
