Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the Twenty
fourth day of October in the Eleventh Year the Reign of our sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

It is Ordered that the final hearing and determining of the
Matter of an Appeal between the Churchwardens and Overseer of the
Poor of the parish of Saint Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Appellants and the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of Saint Giles
in the Fields Respondents touching the Settlement of Elizabeth White< no role >
Aged about Forty Years Wife of John White< no role > (gone from her) and
their two Children Viz. Hannah< no role > Aged about Six Years and Joseph< no role >
Aged about five Years which Stood Adjourned unto this day Do
stand further Adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to be
held for this County And that on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given
to the Respondents they and all Persons concerned Do attend the Court at
Hicks Hall aforesaid on Thursday the Fifth day of December next at Ten
of the Clock in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the Judgment
and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
