Mathew Tanner< no role > of Castle Street Long Acre in the County of
Middlesex Broker and John Jones< no role > of Bond Stables Chancery Lane
in the County of Middlesex aforesaid Broker Severally make Oath
and Say And first this Deponent Mathew Tanner< no role > for himself
Saith that he this Deponent was Sent for to buy the Household
Goods and Furniture of the Defendant in the Month of
January Last at his House in Staceys Court St. Giles And
this Deponent Saith That he then offered the Sum of Nine
pounds to the Defendants Wife for the said Goods and
no more nor were the same worth any more as this Deponent
believes And this Deponent John Jones< no role > for himself
Saith That he this Deponent in the Month of March
Last Bought from Mr. Charles Wade Doyle St. Anno
Grocer Seven Feather Beds mixed with Flock and Seven
Bedsteads with Sheets Blankets and Quilts for the
Sum of Eight pounds Seventeen Shillings or thereabouts
ready money
