At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
in the said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the Eleventh day of
April in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered that the Final hearing and Determining of a Matter of an
appeal Between the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Shenley in the County of Hertford Appellants and the Churchwardens and Overseer's of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Pancras in the County of Middlesex Respondents touching
the Settlement of Ann Dancer< no role > Widow of John Dancer< no role > lately deceased together
with her Five Children namely Mary< no role > aged Eleven years Rebecca< no role > aged Six
Years and upwards John< no role > Aged near Five Years John Thomas< no role > aged two years and
upwards and Joseph< no role > Aged Nine Months which stood adjourned unto this day
Do at the request of the said Respondents on Account of the Abseence of a Material Witness stand further Adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to be
held for this County and that on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given
to the Appellants they and all Persons concerned do Attend the Court at
Hicks Hall aforesaid On Thursday the Sixteenth day of April next at the
Hour of Nine in the Forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the
Judgment and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
