said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the Thirteenth day of
September in the tenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Mary Magdalen Bemondsey
in the County of Surry Have at this present
Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by an Order
under the Hands and Seals of Chris: Scott< no role >
and Geo: Garritt< no role >
Esquires
Two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex
(one being of the
Quorum) bearing date the second Day of August last Sylvia Goodfellow< no role >
of the
Age of Eight Years or thereabouts and Ann Goodfellow< no role >
of the Age of four Years
or thereabouts were removed from the parish of St. George
Middlesex
in the
said Bounty of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen Bermondsey
Aforesaid as the Peace of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners
thought themselves Aggrieved whereupon at the request of the said Petition
It is Ordered that the Benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them and
that the Hearing and Determining thereof be and the same are hereby
Adjournned until the next General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden
for this County and that on Notice hereof to be given in the mean time
to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St George
Middlesex
they and all Persons Concerned do Attend the Court at
Hicks Hall aforesaid on Thursday the Twenty fifth day of October
next at nine of the Clock in the Forenoon of the same day to hear
and Abide the Judgment and Determination of the Court Touching the said
Appeal
