To the Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter
Session of the Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
James within the Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of John Lane an G: Wrights Esquires two of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) dated the 3d. day of May 1770. Sarah
Hanney
< no role > , the widow of William Hanney< no role > and her two Children William< no role >
aged Nine Years, and Joseph < no role > aged seven Years, were Removed from
the Parish of Saint Mary le bone within the said county of Middx
to the said Parish of Saint James as the Place of their last legal
settlement whereby your Petitioner apprehend themselves aggrieved
and appeal to Your Worships against the said Order.

Therefore your Petitioners humbly Pray that
this Court will be pleased to appoint some day in
the Present Sessions for the Hearing and determining
of the said Appeal, and that all Persons concerned
may then attend.

And Your Petitioners Shall ever Pray Etc.
