Brief for the Appellants
Whereas by a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal bearing Date the 20th. Day of February
last, under the hands and Seals of David Wilmot< no role > Esqr. and Benjamin Camper< no role > Esqr. two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one Whose of being of the Quorum) Elizh.
Cole, was removed from the said Parish of Saint Mary White Chappel to the said Parish of
Saint Katherine Cree Church otherwise Christ London as the Place of the last legall Settlement
of the said Elizabeth Cole< no role >

Case
The Pauper Elizabeth Cole< no role > went when a Child to live with one Mr. Andreas Bushman< no role > ,
who then kept and still keeps the Cock & Hern in Cree Church Lane , (which House is in the
Parish of Saint James Dukes Place ) where she lived for Nine Years, Seven Years and a half
for her Board and Lodging;- But for the last Year and half she had £2:10:0 Ye Annum

That she left his Service about 9 Years ago, And has not since by servitude or &
otherwise gained any Settlement

To prove the House where she lived as a Servant with Mr. Andreas
Bushman

At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
