Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order

Esquires
two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
in and for the County
of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twelfth
day of April One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Nine Joseph Beast< no role >

his wife
and their illegitimate Child Elizabeth< no role >
aged about
thirteen Months were removed and Conveyed from the
Parish of Saint
Luke
in the said County of Middlesex
to the said
Parish of Bitton
in the
County of Gloucester
as the place of the last legal Settlement of the said Joseph Beast< no role >
and Elizabeth his wife and their Child Whereby the Petitioners thought
themselves Aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal in the
presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Luke
and they Consenting by their Council to the
Allowing of the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said Appeal be
and the Same is hereby allowed and the said pass Warrant or Order of the said two Justices is hereby Vacated and set Aside and it is further
Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Bitton
do forthwith Convey and deliver back the
said Joseph Beast< no role >
and Elizabeth his wife and Child (together with
a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke
or to Some or one of them
who are hereby required to receive and provide for them until
they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by One Course
of Law
