To the Constable , Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer
of the Peace of the Parish of Saint Luke
in the County of Middlesex And to all Constables
and other Officers whom it may concern
within the said County to receive and convey.
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Raffin
in the County of Bamff in-of Scotland
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS John Packman< no role > was

apprehended in the Parish of Saint Luke
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet)
and upon Examination of the said John Packman< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the place of
the last legal Settlement of the said John Packman< no role > is
in the parish of Raffin in the County of Bamff aforesaid

These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to convey the said John Packman< no role >

tothe Ridge of in Herts that being the
first parish in the next Precinct thro' which he ought to pass
in the direct Way to the said Parish of Raffin
to which he is to be sent and to deliver him to the
Constable or other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct,
together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
John Packman< no role > taking his Receipt for the same. And the said
John Packman< no role > is to be
thence conveyed on in like Manner to the said Parish of Raffin
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, [..]
Overseer of the Poor of the same parish to be there provided
for according to Law. And you the said Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens,
and Overseers of the Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Person
and provide for him as aforesaid. GIVEN under my Hand and Seal this
14th. Day of February in the Year of our
Lord 17 69.
