At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the said County (by adjournment) on Thursday the Twelfth
day of January in the Ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered that Mr. James Jefferson< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
to Mr. James Sturges Adams< no role > Contractor for the Passing of vagrants the
Sum of Three Pounds Ten shillings and Three pence for the Subsistance of
Vagrants since the last Session And that the Receipt of the said Contractor
together with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said
Treasurer for such payment.
