To wit. To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman
and other Officer of the Peace of the Parish
of Saint George Hanover Square [..] in the
County of Middlesex
within the said County to receive
and convey. And to the Church-Wardens,
Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Kirk
Mannington in the Bishoprick of
Durham or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Henry Thompson< no role > was

apprehended in the Parish of Sr. George Hanr Square
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet) that being in distress
he acknowledges to have Laryn in the
Open Air
and upon Examination of the said Henry Thompson< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that The place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Henry
Thompson
< no role > is in the Parish of Kirk Mannington
in the Bishoprich of Duham
These are therefore to require you the said Constable, or other Officer
to convey the said Henry Thompson< no role >
to the Parish of Ridge in Hertfords that being the first
Parish in the next Precinct, through which he ought to pass
in the direct Way to the said Parish - of Kirkemannington to which
he is to be sent, and to deliver him to the Constable, or
other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct, together with
this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Henry Thompson< no role > taking his Receipt
for the same. And the said Henry Thompson< no role >
to be thence carried on in like Manner
to the said Parish of Kirk Mannington
there to be delivered to some Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Over
seer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor, are hereby required to
receive the said Person, and provide for him as aforesaid. GIVEN
under my Hand and Seal this 18th Day of January
in the Year of our Lord 17 69
