As you had the Goodness to shew a great [..] Regard
to my former Application to You in Behalf of the
late Mr. Stoddart by Appointing him Keeper of Clerken
well Bridewell which Office is now become vacant by
his unfortunate Death I perswade myself You will
on this Occasion allow me to recommend to Your Favour the Bearer Mr. Hall
whose Fidelity Prudence & good Conduct have for many
Years been well known to me and who I am [..]
convincedwill execute thatif You shall be so obliging [..] as
to appoint him toit will executethat Office will execute
it to Your Satisfaction by a faithful & diligent discharge
of his Duty
