To the Constables of the Parish of Saint Giles in the
Fields in the County of Middlesex , and also
to all Constables and other Officers, whom it may con-
cern to receive and convey; and to the Church-wardens
Chapel-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the parish
Town or place of Newcastle under Lynn
in the County of Stafford
or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Margaret Bridgen
was
apprehended in the said Parish of Saint Giles in [..]
Fields as a Rogue and Vagabond viz. there
Wandering and begging
and upon Examination of the said Margaret
Bridgen< no role > taken before Me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) if doth appear that she was
born in the Parish Town or Place of Newcastle
under Lyne in the County of Stafford and
hath not since Obtained any legal Settlement

THESE are therefore to require you the Constables of the said
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
to convey the said
Margaret Bridgen< no role >
to the Parish of Ridge in the County of Hertford [..]
that being the first Parish in the next Precinct through which
she ought to pass in the direct. Way to Newcastle
aforesaid to which she is to [..] sent
And to deliver her to the Constable or other Officer [..] the [..]
Parish of Redge together with this Pass, and [..] upl [..]
of the Examination of the said Margaret Bridge taking [..]
Receipt for the same: And the said Margaret Bridge< no role >
is to be thence conveyed on
in like manner to Newcastle aforesaid
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden,
Overseer of the Poor of the same Place; to be there provided for
according to Law; And you the said Church-wardens, Chapel-
wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, are hereby required to receive
the said Person and provide for her as aforesaid
