The Information of Richard Coalman< no role > of the First Troop
of Herse Granadeers taken before me this 7th Day of
December 1768

Who being upon his Oath Saith, That on the Sixth
Day of this Instant December as he was Coming up Bond Street
at about Nine of the Clock in the Evening, he was mett by a
Person who calls himself Richard White< no role > church, who Asked this
Informant if he Knowed on Houghton in his Troop, he answered
him, he Knowed him very well, the said White church there
asked him were he could Speak with him; he told him he
Might speake with him in the Yard any Day - he then asked
this Informant if he would go and drink and he would treat
him with a Pint of Beer, accordingly he went with him into
a Publick House in Bond Street Aforesaid; And there they had
three Pints of Beer and some Bread & Cheese; This Informant
then told him he could Stop no longer has the should be
lock'd out of his Lodgings; on which they both came out
together - The said Whitechurch told this Informant that
half an hour did not Signify for once for he might Knock them
up; this Informant told him he Could do such or thing, but
it was Contrary to their Orders to be out of their Quarters After
Ten O'Clock at Night; he then told this Informant if he would
go with him he would treat him with another Pint, Accordingly
he went with him into another Publick House, (but this Informant
Cannot till what house it was, as he took him through some Narrow
Lanes) and there Called for a Pint of Beer and after that Another,
and while then was drinking the second Pint, the said White church
Pint his hand to this Informants Breeches and upon his Private Parts,
On which this Informant preceving his vile Intentions was going
to leave him - but considerd that he would Charge the watch with him
but this informant being willing to see what he did intend, the said
White church soon after un buttoned his Breeches before, on which
this Informant was Angry with him and would stay no longer in
his Company; but went out of the said House, and he followed him
And the said White church took this Informant round his Neck
And Attempted to Kiss him, on which Informant Layed hold of him
