To the Church wardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of great Hanmore
in the County of middlesex and to the Church wardens and overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint andrew Holborn above the Bars in the Said County of Middlesex
and to Each and Every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto ur William Hallett and John Bridge< no role > Esqr two
of his Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the Said County of Middx by the Church wardens
and overseers of the poor of the parish of Great Hanmore in the County of Middx That ann
Davis
< no role > Single woman and her female Bastard Child now about fourteen week old wereby
Warrant or Order of Removal Under the hands and Seals of Stephen Clerke and I Girdles Esqr
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said County of middx dated the twenty third
day of march one thousand seven hundred and Sixty Eight Removed from the said parish of
Saint andrews Holborn above the Bars in the said County of Middx to the parish of Great
Stanmore in the said County of middx as to the place of the Suff Legal Settlement of her the said
Ann Davis< no role > the said female Bastard Child being also thereby Removed with her Said mother
for Murture And Whereas it appears unto us William Hallett< no role > and John Ridge< no role > Esqr
the said Justices upon the Examination of the said ann Davis< no role > taken before us upon oath But
the said female Bastard Child was Born in the Said parish of Saint andrews Holborn above
the Bars in the said County of middx and whereas the said ann Davis< no role > did on or about
the twenty fifth day of March last Volunlarily and after him ordered goe away from the said
parish of great Hanmore and Deport the Said Bastard Child whereby the Court of Nurture is
now Paused and Determined and the said female Bastard Child in new become Chargeable to
the said parish of great Stanmore in the Said County of middx We william Hallett< no role > and
John Rudge< no role > Esqrs the said Justices upon due proof made thereof as well upon the Examination
of the said ann Davis< no role > upon oath as aforesaid as otherwise and Likewise upon due Considerations
had of the Premisses do adjudge the same to be true and we do Likewise adjudge that the
Lawfull Settlement of her the said female Bastard Child is in the said parish of Saint andrew
Holborn above the Bars in the said County of middx We do therefore Begine you the
Said Church wardens and overseers of the poor of the Said parish of great Stanmore or Some on
one of you to Convey the said female Bastard Child from out of your Said parish of Great
Stanmore to the said Parish of Saint andrew Holborn above the Bars and her to Deliver
to the Church wardens and Overseers of the poor there or Some or one of them together
with this one order or a true Copy thereof and we do also Require you the Church wardens
and Overseers of the poor if the said parish of Saint andrew's Holborn above the Bars to
Receive and provide for her as an Inhabitant of your parish Given under
our hands and Seal this Twenty fifth day of April and in and year of our Lord one
thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Eight
