In the Mre of ye Petition of Vincent Rice
to be discharged form his apprenticeship
will Mr. William Brazier< no role >

The said Vincent Rice< no role > maketh Oath and
Saith that when his said Master was Setting
out for the West Indies which this Deponent
believes was in November one [..]
Seven hundred and Sixty Six, this Deponent
applyed to the said Mr. Brazier and
requested he might be turned over to or
Placed with some other Person as he was
going abroad, where upon the said Mr Brazier
assured this Deponent he Should Certainly
return to England in about five Months
if Possible as he was satisfied his Bussiness wod
be finished in One Month after his Arrival
and this Deponent Saith that he was
afterwards Informed by Mr Elizabeth Brazier< no role >
Wife of the sd William Brazier< no role > that the
had receive a Letter from her Husband
Purporting that he would be at home in August
Last and afterwards that the had received
other Letters by one of which his Return [..]
was Fixed for about Michael [..]
by Christmas Last at far theft or to l [..]
Fleet But this Deponent saith [..] that
Case his said Master was were Soon to return
forindoes not apprehend it would be of any her [..]
to this Deponent at the Trade and Bro [..]
are Entirely gone
