new Town Weaver Saith That she was standing at her Door
in King Edward Street last Tuesday When the Cart and Horses
were going along thereThat the Cart was a Brick Cart
and was Empty Had three Horses in it
That the Deceased was Crossing the way going into the Field
And the first Horse of the three threw the Child down but
(Informant thinks) did not Kick itThe Second Horse
Kick'd it But whether the Shaft Horse touch'd it she cannot
TellThat she watch'd the Wheel and the near Wheel
went some part of it over the Head
That the Driver was then Standing in the Cart with his Face
to the Horses But whether he saw or could see the Child
Informant cannot tellThat Informant Screamd
out when she first saw the Child But whether the Driver heard
she cannot tellshe did not Call to him only screamd out
That he did not Stop the Horses or Turn his Head for some
timeThat Informant went after him And, told him
he had done it And then he seemd much frightend and
Wrung his Hands But did not then Stop
That some of the Neighbours Stopd him
That the Horses were going on a Middling Pace when the
Thing happenned and Informant did not see the Driver
Whip then at all Whether the Driver was sober
or not Informant can't TellNor does she
know his NameThat the Child was about three
Years OldThat the Father went with the Child to the
London Hospital directly but it died (she hath been Informed)
before they got there
