Mr. Covertys Compliments to Mr. Jefferson and has Vizt. him all the
Books of Land Tax in the Tower Division for yt Year 1767 and begs he may have in
returned as soon as Possible Mr. Jefferson can in Order to make out the
Accounts for the Commissioners of the Tower Division to Sign in Pursuance
of Mr.Jeffersons Summons for that Purpose

It was Impossible to draw out ye Accounts within the time Limitted
as the Tower Division is the greatest Number in ye County

Mr. Jefferson will have sent toyouhim on Monday next a Copy of the
Charter ofhisthe Liberty of his Majestys Tower of London by Mr
Coverly as he thinks he can have A Sent to him altho' he is not
Possessed of fit himself

Mr. Coverly once more desires his Account concerning the
Indictment agt White Chapel as Mr Jefferson's Account retards him
from Conplying with ye request of ye Officers inbringingcarrying in his Bill
to the Parish
