on ye prosecution of Rachael pridmore< no role >
for assault

John Scott< no role > maketh Oath & Saith that on Wednesday
last he did Serve the above prosecutrix with a Copy
of the Annexed Notice of Trial by delivering the Same to
and having it with the father of the prosecutrix in the
parish of St. George in this County at his house there
and this Deponent Saith that before he Served the
above Notice he made Enquiry after the above prosecutrix
in order to Serve her there with but upon Such Enquiry
finding the prosecutrix was gone from her place of abode
and that ye Cause was Empty where She lived and being
Informed that the prosecutrix was gone away and that
She the said prosecutrix declared that the was going
to Sea with a Man two hundred Miles off and the said
prosecutrix was her woman also told this Deponent
that the prosecutrix was gone away and not to be found
which this Depont. believes to be true thereupon this
Depont. Served the said Notice upon the said prosecutrix's
father as above who then told this Depont. his Daughter
the prosecutrix was gone away
