Richard Evans< no role > of the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex Taylor maketh Oath that
he this Deponent understood and verily believed that the
Sessions of the Peace for the County of Middlesex was to
have been held at Hicks's Hall in and for the same
County on Monday next being the fifteenth day of
December instant and therefore this Deponent neglected
giving notice of Tryal to the Prosecutrix as this Depont.
apprehended he had time enough so to do any time before
the said Sessions began And this Deponent Saith that he this
Deponent always meant and intended to try the
Traverse upon the above Indictment pursuant to the
Recognizance entred into by this Defendants Bail for
that purpose, and this Deponent did not mean or intend
to delay trying the said Traverse but through the mistake
aforesaid
