Walter Herbert< no role > Servant to Mr. Hayden of White Chappell
sail Cloth maker Saith that Friday Last about Seven o Clock in
the Evening as he was Crossing White Chappell Road he saw a Person
whose Name (he hath since heard was Slack) and another
Person (who he Knows not) Riding one on one side the Road
And the Other on other side the RoadThat Slack was
the HindmostThat the Woman was Crossing the Road
And the first Horse went by herThat they both rode as
hard as they Possibly could goThat Slacks Horse Hit
her he Believes about the Loynes And Beat away a Bundle
Which she had in her Hand and Knock'd her Down
That the Other Person as soon as a he found the Woman
was down Come Back And Slack Pulled his Horses
Head round as he Believe to Come Back But the People
Called out to Knock him on the Head And then he went on
towards the Turnpike as fast as he could go
That he did not hear Slack Call to the Woman at all before
he Beat her downThat he was about Thirty Yards from
the Woman and he was nearer to Slack than the Woman
And thinks if he had Called to her he (this informant ) must
have heard himand Says that Slack did not Attempt
to Pull in or to Turn his Horse out of the way before
he got to the Woman
