severally make Oath and first the said
William Hodson< no role >
for himself severally Saith that he hath made
diligent enquiry where the above named Prosecutor resides but can
gain no [..] intelligence thereof, same [..] this Deponent was
informed that he lodged at the
Sun Alehouse
in Curzon Street
May
fair
but on enquiry at the said Alehouse about a Week ago and several times
before this Deponent was informed that the said prosecuter did not lodge
there and which this Deponent believes and this Deponent Saith that
the said Presentor did yesterday or on Sunday Morning but Whether
this Deponent came at Accollect Inform this Deponent that if he Wanted
him the said prosecuter he this Deponent might find him at the said
Sun Alehouse
and the Deponent Joseph Walker< no role >
for himself
Severally saith that he did this day Leave a notice in Writing
in this Cause at the said Sun Alehouse Signed by the other Deponent
Purporting that he the said Depondent Would appear on friday
next at
Hicks's Hall
in Saint John Street
in the County of
Middlesex
at Nine of the Clock in the forenoon of the same day and
then and there try his traverse on the Bill of Indictment preferred
by the said presentor against the said Dependent for an Assault
