the Wards for the Master side Debtors-There
is only one Window-There is no yard or
Area in the Gaol Exceptinthe press yard
That the prices frequently run overThat
they cannot discover when the Pipes are
Choaked 'til they run over that this
occasions a great Stench and may create
Dampness in the Walls-That the Gaol
has never been so full but that it it would
hold more but that when there is a great
Number of Prisoners in the Gaol they are
always Sickly from the smallness of the
Space of Ground and the want of pee
Circulatoin of Air-That they are most
so in the Middle of Winter in Damp
Weather and in the midst of Summer
being asked if he did not apprehend that
the Sickness did in great measure proceed
from the Situation of Newgate in the middle
