To the Constable of the Parish of St James Clerkenwell

Whereas Complaint in Writing on Oath hath been this29 30th. day of Oct
day made before Us two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County at our special Sessions for the Amendmt. of the highway
holden at Hicks Hall in St John Street by Benja Long< no role > Surveyor
of the Highways of the Parish afd. that the several Persons
named in the List hereunto AnnexedLabourersbeing severally
personsHousholders or Cottagers in the sd. Parish were duly
Sumon'd by him to Work & Labour by themselves or the
suffict. Labourer each our a certain Day lately passed
in the Amendmt. of the Highways in the Parish afd.
to wit on that part of the sd. Parish called the
lower Upper side But that they severally neglected &
made default and have also neglected to pay
on Contribute towards the Charges thereof in
her of such Labouror DateThese are therefore
in his Majestys Name forthwith to Sumon then
& every of them to Appear Personally before Us &
others our Fellows Justices at one special Sessions
to be holden at Hicks Hall afd. on Tuesday next
at Eleven o Clock in the forenoon to Answer the
Premes And be you then & there in Your proper
Person to Certify in what manner you shall have
Executed this Comand Given under our Hands & Seals
the 30th. of Oct 1764
