Informations of Witnesses taken and Acknowledged
on the behalf of Our Sovereign Lord the King the
15th. day of September in the fourth Year of the Reign
of Our Sovereign Lord King George the Third
And in the Year of Our Lord 1764 At the House
of John Schroder known by the Sign of the City of
Amsterdam and Spread Eagle in Cathrine Street
in the Present of Saint Katherines in the said
County of Middlesex before Thomas Phillips< no role > One
of the Coroners for the said County touching the
death of a new born Male Child then and there
lying dead as fellow (to wit)

Thomas Smith< no role > Apprentice to Charles Rickeise< no role >
of Saint Catherines Court Waterman Saith That
on Friday the 14th. Sepr. this Informant being
standing at St. Catherines Stairs There was One
William Bird< no role > Apprentice to Edward Booth< no role > of
St Catherines Stairs who was further there Informants
Masters, Boat going to fetch in Books Boat
And as he was Casting out he saw the said
Child lying in a Bag at the Stem of a Barge
