London Gentleman maketh Oath that he
Verily believes the abovenamed Defendant
is Arrested And now in Custody of the
Sheriff of Middlesex at the Suit of Several,
persons, This Deponent having Yesterday
Seen two Warrants in the Hands of Mr. Nice
the said Sheriffs officer, one at the Suit of
Chitts and the other at the Suit of
Clough against the said Defendant
for Considerable Sums of Money And this
Deponent was informed Yesterday Evening
at the said Sheriffs Office that the Said
Defendant was detained at the Suits of the
saidChetts andClue.
