for the Appearance of the Above Defendant
at the last May Sessions held in & for the
County of Middlesex agd. they or the Saturday
being the last day of the said Sessions did
attend the Dept. to see that he did appear &
plead according to the Tenor of their
Recognizance but the Court was broke up
& these Defts each seperately [..] say, that they
never intended or were privy to any Attempt of the
said Defts to keep out of the way & Evade his
trial accordings the Common Course
& practice of this Court
