Simmonds Stole an eight Gallon Cask filled with Brandg [..]
out of the Baptist Head in the Old Bailey where they
went by Accident to drink but seeing it stand in the
Passage they Privately rolled it out of Doors & carried it
off & Sold afterwards but for how much and to whom he
cannot Says That about two Months ago this Examint.
with John Parker< no role > , John Carls< no role > & John Barnes< no role > went into
a Silver Smith's Shop in Ratcliff Highway under Pretence
of buying Buttons at two different Times & stole half

Things which they brought away and were sold but [..]
Examinant had not Part of the Money That about
Six Months ago George Tucker< no role > and this Examinant
went into the Same Shop in Barbican which he afterwards
broke open as before Set forth under Pretence of buying
Buckles Stole three Pair of Buckles and Pawned them
and divided the Money; that about five Months ago this
Examinant and Carls went into a Cloaths Shop in Barbican &
this Examinant took away a Coat which they pawned
for 12 & was afterwards [..] by Saml George< no role >
Who now wears it. That Morgan, Carlow & Gregory
[..] into the same Clothshire and stole a hat & 2 Pair of Breeckes
And lasthy that this Examinant was concerned with
Richard Twist< no role > , John Allsop< no role > , Joseph Davis< no role > & George
Waters
< no role > in Picking several Gentleman Pockets in the
Artillery Ground on Thursday last when they got
three Watches which Alsop & Davis told him they had Sold
to a Jew and gave him half a Guinea for his Share.
