First this Examinant saith that about September last
he together with John Adeo, and George Tucker< no role >
(who is now
a Prisoner in one of the Compters) lefted up a Sash belonging
to a little Room by the Side of a Chandler Shop in Pearbree
Street and took out a light coloured Coat which hung upon
the Back of a Chair, that he lifted up the Sash & Adee took
out the Coat, which Adee pleaded for half a Guinea in
Barbicam. each having 3s 6d upon the Division. That
about two Night afterwards the said Adee and Tucker
together with this Examinant went to a House in Old
Street
where Adee had formerly lodged tenanted by an old
Woman very deaf and who keeper a Chandler's shop, that
Tucker opened the Door, this Examinant went into the Shop
about night or nine o' Clock in the Evening and took (the old
Woman being backwards) three Gloucester
Cheeses, and
in conveying them out he dropt them which making a
Disturbance this Examinant snatched up one, Tucker took
the other two and then they both went out into the Street
where Adee writed for them & reced one of Tucker, they then
carried All the Cheeses to Adee Lodging but what become
of them this Examinant doth not Know. That all the winter
he this Informant did nothing or was concerned in any
felonious Matter, but that in the Spring about February
or March this Examinant together with Thomas Morgan< no role >

and Said Adee went to the Cheshire Cheese at
Mount Pleasant
having before fixed upon that House
with Instant to Steal a Silver Tankard, and calling for some
Beer went into the Shuffle to and Room where the Boy
bringing it in a Pewter Quart Pet they were disappointed
and called for more Beer which the Boy brought in a Silver
Tankard and he going away they drank the Beer as quick
as they could the others went out and this Examinant
