in the County aforesaid by Adjournment on
Tuesday the Twelfth day of July 1763 in the Third year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Greats
Britain Etc Before
Esquires
and others their Fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the said
County and also to hear and Determine Divers Felonies Trespasses
and other Misdemeanours committed in the same County
Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint
Matthew Bethnal Green
in the County of Middlesex
Have Exhibited their Petition and
appeal to this Court Setting forth That by a Pass or Order of Removal under the hands
and Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County (whereof
one is of the Quorum) bearing date the ninth day of May last past William

his wife
were removed from the Parish of Edmonton
in the said
County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint Matthew Bethnal Green
aforesaid as the
place of their last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners apprehend themselves
aggrieved and did appeal to this Court against the same Whereupon at the
request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit of their said Appeal
aforesaid be saved unto them and that the hearing and Determining thereof be and
the same is hereby adjourned until the next General Session of the peace to be
holden for this County and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
of the said Parish of Edmonton
on notice hereof to be given to them in the mean
time and all other Persons concerned do Attend the Court at Hicks Hall
aforesaid
on Tuesday the Thirteenth day of the Month of September next by Nine of
the Clock in the forenoon (at which time and place the said Session will be
holden by adjournment as it is expected) to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal.
