The humble petition and Appeal of the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Tottenham
in
the County of Middx
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Warrant or Order under the hands and seals
of two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middx aforesaid (one
whereof being of the Quorum) Bearing Date the ninth Day of June 1763

was removed from and out of the parish of Saint Luke
in
the County aforesaid to the said parish of Tottenham
as the peace of her last legal
Settlement
Your petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order of
the said two Justices of the peace
Do therefore
humbly appeal to this Court against the
same and pray that this Court will appoint
a Day in this present general quarter session
of the peace for the hearing and Determining
of the said Appeal And that the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
Saint Luke and all other persons concerned may
then attend this Court to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of this Court
touching the said Appeal.
