To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in
their General Quarter Session of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of William Mantle< no role > and William Timbrell< no role > Esquires two
of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Eleventh day of
May 1763. Jane Conaway< no role > Singlewoman was removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint George Hanover square
within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to
the said Parish of St. Luke Middlesex as the place of her last legal
Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant of the
said two Justices Do humbly Appeal against the
same And pray that this Court will be pleased to
appoint a day at this present Session for the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish and all other Persons concerned to
attend this Court to hear and abide the Judgment
and Determination of the said Court touching
the said Appeal.
