At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the
said County by Adjournment on Thursday the Nineteenth day of May
One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty three in the Third year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc
Before Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr . The Right Honourable John Lord Viscount Dudley
and Ward George Errington< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices assigned to
keep the Peace of our said Lord the King Within the County aforesaid
and also to hear and Determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanours committed in the said County.

Whereas the Church wardens and Oversers of the poor of the
Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in
this County have Exhibited their petition and Appeal at this
General Session setting forth that by Virtue of Pass Warrant
or Order under the Hands and Seals of William Baker< no role > and James
Clitherow
< no role > Esquires Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
this county (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the First day
of May instant Esther Messenger< no role > the Wife of John Messenger< no role >
was removed from the Parish of Hanwell in the same County
to the said Parish of saint James Westminster as the Place
of her last Legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners Conceived
themselves Aggrieved Now Upon hearing the said Petition
and Appeal in the Presence and hearing of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Hanwell and
their council and having heard what hath been Alledged on
either side by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers
their Council and Witnesses in and Concerning the Premisses
This Court doth Allow the said Appeal and doth Vacate and
Discharge the aforesaid accordingly And it is further
Ordered that the said Poor Woman beforthwith sent back
and Delivered to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Hanwell together with a Copy of this Order
