To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their GeneralSession Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
Warden and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of
Luddesdown in the County of Kent

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removed
under the Hands and Seals of Walter Berry< no role > and John Shakespear< no role >
Esquires Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Eighth
Day of March last Eleanor Brookes< no role > aged about Seven years and
Six Months a Bastard born of the Body of Mary Brookes< no role >
Since deceased was removed from the Hamlett of Ratcliffe in
the parish of Stepney in the County of Middlesex to the said
parish of Luddesdown as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby Your Petitioners do conceive them selves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
Relief in the Promises And that your
Worships will be pleased to make an
Order that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Hamlett
of Ratcliffe in the said Parish of Stepney
and all Persons concerned may attend
the Court some Day in these prevent
Session to be appointed by your Worship
to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of the Court in the
Premises.
