This Indenture Witnesseth That John Dekueth< no role > Seal [..]
Margaret Picknett< no role > of the Parish of Saint Mary [..]
White Chapel in the County of Middlesex
doth path in well Apprentice to George Gardner< no role > of the same Parish
and County [..] Spinner
to learn his Art, and with him (after the Manner of an Apprentice) to serve from the
day of the date of these Presentsunto the full End and
Term of Seven Years from thence next following to be fully complained ended
During which Term the said Apprentice his Master faithfully shall serve his secrets [..]
his lawful commands every where gladly do to shall do no Damage to his said Maspinor see so be done of
others, but to his Power shall let or forthwith give Warning to his said Master of the same He shall not
Waste the Goods of his said Master nor send them unlawfully to any He shall not commit fornication nor
contract Matrimony within the said Term He shall not play at Cards Dice Tables or any other unlawfull
Games whereby his said Master May have any less. With his own Goods or others during the said Term
without Licence of his said Master shall neither buy nor sell He shall not its unclaverns or play house
[..] self from his said Master service day or Night unlawfully But in all things as a Faithful
[..] all his divers the said Term

his said Apprentice in the Art of a Line Spinner which house as by the best Means that he
can shall teach and instruct, or cause to be caught and instructed, Finding unto the said Apprentice
sufficient Meat Drink Apparel Washing and Lodging, and all other Necessaries during the said [..]
And for the last her bears of the said Term of Seven Years shall well and [..]
unto his said Apprentice Five Pounds and Four shillings a Year
And for the true Perfomances of all and every the said Covers and Agreements either of the said
Parties vinseth himself unto the other by these Presents In Witness where of the Parties above named to these
Indentures Inter changeably have neither Hands and Seals the Ninth Day of December and
in the thirteenth Year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of Got of
Great Britain France and Ireland KING Defender of the faith Etc: and in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundred and fifty six.
