As I apprehend the Above mentioned Deft.
[..] ill Endeavour to get some wicked person between
the service of Notice of Tryal on me thereby to
Escape the punishmt: that in due to him for the
sd: Offence I beg the favour. of you if any Venue
should be made out and any such Notice is sworn
to Assure the Court that I have never been served
with any which I will come and testify in Person
if you will be [..] hind as to send an Express me pen [..]
and I will pay the Expence- for the sake of
Publick Justice I hope you will Grant my request
and you will very much Oblige
