Westminster , To wit,


To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Margaret, in the City of Westminster , and
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Ann in the Liberty of Westminr . and to each
and every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City and Liberty aforesaid, (one whereof being of
the Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Margaret, Westminster .
That

who is now at Scotland & their Child George< no role >
Aged 3 Years
lately intruded, and came into
the said Parish of St. Margaret , and are
become Chargeable to the Same; We the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Circum-
stances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also adjudge
the place of the last legal Settlement of the said John Claxton< no role >

George Aged 3 Years to be in the Parish
of St. Ann in the Liberty of Westminr .

These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire you, on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the
said Mary Claxton< no role > and her Child George
from and out of your said parish of St. Margaret, Westminster ,
to the said Parish of St. Ann in the Liberty
of Westminster
and them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Over-
Seers of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby
required to receive and provide for them according
to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals this 10th
Day of Decemr. 1762
