We the Major part of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St James within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Do hereby
Certify that John Dench< no role > of the said Parish who enterd
into a Recognizance (taken and acknowledged before Benjamin
Cox
< no role > Esqr: one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for
the said County) for his Personal Appearance at this
General Sessions of the Peaceheld at Hicks Hall
in and for the said County to answer the Complaint of the
Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St James for unlawfully begeting on the Body of Mary
Hagan

is yet living and Chargeable to the Said Parish, hath made
