the two Bail of the above Defendant severally
make Oath and Say that they severally became Bail for the said Deft before Mr.
Justice Welch on a Warrant for an Assault on the above named Thomas Hall< no role >
for his Appearance at the Sessions held in July last And these Deponents
finding that the said Thomas Pennythorne< no role >
had not appeared at the said
Sessions applyed to the Deputy Clerk of the Peace and obtained a
Certificate of the said Indictment being found and thereupon obtained a
Warrant from the said Mr. Justice Welch, since which time neither of
these Deponents have been capable of Meeting with the said Thomas
Pennytherne< no role >
in order to surrender him according to Law having made
diligent inquiry after him at his place of above & elsewhere
